Community-Centered resource Mobilization
Building the world we want - together.
Meet Veronica
Veronica is a nature nerd, a community-centered resource mobilizer, and a believer in mutual aid. She’s worked in community spaces, nonprofits, grassroots movements, and gardens* for over ten years. Veronica is a fundraising expert and a campaign specialist. Her life’s work is to mobilize resources into the hands of those who are fostering community growth. With wide range, Veronica has executed and led campaigns ranging from $5,000 to $10 million for national non-profits, community spaces, grassroots movements, individuals, and more. Using her personal ethos of equity, her holistic and unique education, and her lived experience, Veronica’s goal is to help build and foster strong community bonds, hopefully helping to create the world we know we deserve in the process.
*A garden, either personal or communal, is a living representation of collaboration, giving, and growth. I have learned endlessly from my garden and from other gardeners, like Ross Gay. The inherent sharing in a garden has shown me how to thrive humbly and with gratitude in community.
what makes veronica different?
-
Politics.
Veronica believes that everything is political. What does this mean? She believes there is a clear and egregious wealth gap supported by years of colonization, exploitation, racism, homophobia, transphobia, and misogyny. That’s why she doesn’t work in sales. Veronica uses her skills for good, helping Real People with Real Problems. Mutual aid and community are core values in Veronica’s life and work. She wants to help you connect with your community resources, not just because it’s the most successful way to ask for help, but because she wants you to feel communal security alongside financial security.
-
Holistic Education.
Veronica has an M.A. and B.A. in American Studies (Storytelling, culture, folklore, and history), and a B.S. in Sociology. Put those together, and you get a cultural storytelling expert who knows people. Veronica’s area of research specialty is social movements. She’s specifically studied the way that culture and politics overlap with strong social movements, what makes a movement strong, and how movements emerge. But more importantly, Veronica attributes most of her knowledge to ten years of hands-on work in the organizing world. Lived experience has been one of her best teachers, and she believes education should be used for liberation, not gatekeeping. She’s here to share what she learned.
-
Experience.
Veronica has a successful track record. Having worked in a wide variety & range of community organizations and movements, Veronica knows how to run a campaign. She knows where to ask for help and how. She’s skilled in marketing and communications, and has collectively raised over $25 million dollars to foster collective, localized power. Veronica has lead projects with 100% success rate, small and large.

-
Collaboration.
Veronica works with you to find solutions. She’s a coach and a consultant, not a steamroller. She listens to your unique situation - whether you’re a 1-man-show nonprofit or an individual who needs a life saving surgery. She knows that people don’t ask for help if they don’t need it. She trusts you fully and wholly to make your own decisions in this process. With that being said, Veronica will meet with you over the course of the campaign preparations and launch. She asks you to participate in the process by giving her valuable information, like your current reach and relationships. We goal map together to find the best avenues for help.
